James Foley is Lecturer in Politics at Glasgow Caledonian University, having received his PhD from the University of Edinburgh. He is author, most recently, of Scotland after Britain (Verso) and co-editor of Contesting Cosmopolitan Europe(University of Amsterdam Press). His research interests centre on nationalist resistance to globalisation; the politics of sovereignty; the interlocking crises of capitalism; and the politics of social class.

As UK PI of Endure, Dr Foley is co-leader of Cluster 1 and is participating in Clusters 2 and 3.
