Giselle Soares
Giselle Soares is a Ph.D. Student in Science and Technology Policy at Unicamp, with a grant from Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). She holds a Master's degree in Popularization of Science and Culture (Unicamp). Soares is a specialist in Science Journalism (Federal University of Ceará) and worked for many years as a science journalist at Cearense Foundation to Support Scientific and Technological Development (Funcap). She has a B.A. in Social Communication - Journalism (Federal University of Ceará). Currently, her research focuses on disinformation related to vaccines for COVID-19 on social media in Brazil, especially Telegram.
