Prof. Giuseppe Cocco
Giuseppe Cocco is a full Professor at Post-Graduation Program in Communication (PPGCOM/UFRJ) and at Post-Graduation Program in Information Science (PPGCI/UFRJ); Full Professor at Graduation Program at Social Work School (ESS/UFRJ). Coordinator of the Territory and Communication Laboratory (LabTec/PPGCOM/UFRJ). He has experience in the area of Urban and Regional Planning, with emphasis on Urban Policy, working mainly on the following topics: work, communication, globalization, city, fordism and citizenship. Currently his research interests focus on cognitive turn, algorithmic acceleration and catastrophe.
