Milena Pavan Serafim is Associate Professor of Public Administration at the School of Applied Sciences (University of Campinas- Brazil) and of the Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs in Human and Social Sciences and in Science and Technology Policy, both at Unicamp. She is coordinator of the Laboratory of Public Sector Studies (LESP) and Innovation Policy Analysis Group (GAPI). She is the author of about 100 publications in scientific journals, books and book chapters. Her research areas are Policy Analysis; Public Policies and Institutions; Actors, Governance and Decision Making; Public Policy and Science,Technology and Society. She is currently Associate Director of the Faculty of Applied Sciences (Unicamp). She worked in program management at the Ministry of Social Development (2005 and 2006) and as a UNDP consultant at the Ministry of Health (2005). Experience in planning, managing, monitoring and evaluating public policies, public administration.
