Piotr Pieńkowski is an assistant professor, and vice-director of the Institute of Sociology, University of Wroclaw, Poland. PhD in Sociology (2012), Master Degree in Sociology (2008) and Political Science (2009). Research interest: sociology of risk, security, contemporary threats from a sociological perspective, social perception. Author of nearly 40 publications, including articles, book chapters, edited books and one monography. Chair of the Section of Sociological Problems of National Security (Polish Sociological Association, 2019-2022). Member of the research group in NAWA grant “SOR-WAR Project. Social Order Resilience During the War in Ukraine. Ukrainian and Polish Experiences”.

In the ENDURE project he will be involved in Cluster 4, Aim 3: Nationalism, authoritarianism, anti-vaccine rhetoric, and conspiracy theories’ transformation and flow. Also, he will conduct statistical and qualitative analyses.
